Well this week was very uneventful. I mostly worked on school stuff. My game design idea is coming along nicely, I'm still keen on my idea of a side-scrolling 8-bit shooter game, in the vain of Castlevania, Contra and other classic 90s games.
I have chosen to do eBay for my social networking presentation task. For this, I'll have to make a powerpoint presentation detailing information about eBay and also talk the class through the topics.
In other news, I have secured some design work. My mate's band She Fuzz are in need of a design and a logo, possibly for a future tshirt and CD covers.
The DG magazine (http://www.dgdesignnetwork.com.au/dgdn/) are hosting a design contest open to all tertiary and secondary students to feature on the cover of their annual magazine cover. I am hoping to get my entry finished by the closing date to have my work featured.
And in closing, the title of this blog comes from my insatiable craving to play snakes and ladders. It will not be satisfied until I have played a full round of this magnificent game.
Catch.
